BNTY never holds your funds. Nobody's.
We are a non-custodial platform: escrow lives in a smart contract on the Solana blockchain — not in a BNTY bank account. Funds move only by the contract's rules (fund, release, refund), every movement has a public transaction signature, and we cannot spend, freeze, or redirect your money.
What a wallet actually is
A crypto wallet is an app that holds your keys, not your coins. The USDC itself lives on the Solana blockchain; the wallet holds the private key that proves it's yours and lets you move it. Your wallet address is like an account number — safe to share, it's how rewards reach you. Your private key is like the master key to the account — anyone who has it has your money.
Seed phrase = the only backup
When you create a wallet you get a recovery phrase (also called a seed phrase) — 12 or 24 ordinary words. Those words can rebuild your entire wallet on any device, which makes them both your safety net and your biggest risk: anyone who learns them controls your funds, and if you lose them, they are gone forever. There is no “forgot my phrase” button — not from the wallet maker, not from BNTY, not from anyone.

Set it up in five steps
Download from the official site only
Use the links above or type the address yourself. Never install a wallet from an ad, a DM, or a link someone sent you — fake wallet apps are the #1 way people get robbed.
Create a new wallet
Open the app and choose “Create new wallet”. It generates your keys on your device — they never touch BNTY's or anyone else's servers.
Write down your recovery phrase
You'll be shown 12 or 24 words. Write them on paper (twice is better) and store them somewhere safe and offline. Don't screenshot them, don't email them to yourself, don't put them in cloud notes.
Set a password & verify
Add a strong device password or biometric lock, confirm your phrase when asked, and you're done. Your wallet address — safe to share — is ready to receive USDC.
Connect it to BNTY
Head to Settings → Wallet & payouts and press Connect. Verifying ownership is a free message signature: no transaction, no fees, and we never see your keys.
The rules that keep you safe
- Write your recovery phrase on paper and store it offline
- Download wallets only from the official website or app store
- Double-check the site address before entering anything
- Never share your recovery phrase with anyone — including “BNTY support”
- Never type your phrase into a website, form, or chat
- Never store it in screenshots, email drafts, or cloud notes
BNTY will never ask for your recovery phrase. Not in chat, not by email, not to “verify your account”. Anyone who does is trying to steal from you — report them to safety@bnty.market.
Connecting to BNTY costs nothing
Linking your wallet is a free message signature — not a transaction. It proves you own the address and nothing more. We never see your keys or your phrase, and you can unlink at any time.
